I observed the sun kissing the morning sky through the bedroom window, feeling gratitude for these precious moments, I walked out to the porch. We often overlook the ones we love and the beauty around us.
As the birds chirped and the sun warmed my cheek, I reflected on life, realizing that today is a reflection of my past. Though distant, those moments shape who I am. My richness lies in family, friends, and a man I adore—making me the wealthiest woman.
Never a “material girl,” as Madonna would say, but sitting on this porch, I’m the most complete I’ve ever been. Overlooking the views, I embrace the world’s beauty, feeling whole and forever grateful for the peace within me. I cherish this life, viewing negatives in a different light, refusing to let fleeting moments steal my joy.
Today, I stand joyous in the present, not allowing the past to overshadow the light bestowed upon me. The rearview mirror, small for a reason, reminds me not to dwell on the past. The windshield guides my life, and I’ve driven mine to a perfect place, leaving the rearview behind. I embrace my completion.
