Men being the leader of the house and the strength of the family, carry a large load. But what happens when a man has emotions or he is just plum tired?
Oppression has been a word used so many ways in our world. It is my belief that the most oppressed humans in this world are men, black white, brown yellow does not matter, they are oppressed. Taught all their lives that they should never show emotion, never fail, and be responsible for everyone in their care, they are never to show weakness. Called names if caught crying, wussy for showing a softer side of themselves, always trying to keep the balance of happiness equal for all in his family.
Some never finding a woman whom stands as mighty oak with her hand on his back and giving the strength to stand in the oppression the world has caged him in. I know it sounds cliché, but I do believe behind every good man stands a good woman. I’ll tell you why I believe she stands behind like a mighty oak bracing him for what life is throwing at him. A good woman stands with him
no matter what the circumstances. It’s a rare find these days to find a couple who actually lives to that code. Rare to find a man who will be vulnerable with the woman he loves. It is in my opinion the most manly men show vulnerability to the woman they love. For while she stands at your side, she can also stand behind you as a mighty oak and be the brace to support you when the world is throwing its heavy winds.
Men never settle for a woman who will not stand by your side and then step behind you to brace you without falter, and women never accepted men whom will not be vulnerable with you. In his vulnerability he will show you the depths of his love and in that moment he allows you to break the oppression that has been casted upon him. He has now become a man of a mighty Oak woman, together they will conquer the world that can be hell bent to destroy them. Do not try to control him, but stand with him and give him grace. When you see him vulnerable, guide him with your love and allow him the place he deserves as your king, as the person you trust and allow him to trust you. For true love stands together in the storm, never allowing the worlds winds to knock them down.
It is okay to cry, laugh and be angry together. If you are lucky enough to find this in each other, you have conquered the oppression and he will always be safe with you by his side and you will always be sheltered in his love. The rest who can not have this will always envy and attempt to destroy this type of strength and love, but together you are two oak trees inner twined together and will survive the winds and grow to an unbreakable bond.
In short ladies love him and allow him to be free to have all emotions, stand with him through strongest and weakest and gentlemen allow her to guide you to be your safe haven when vulnerable. These action will be the moments that you know you have found true love.
